Jorge Arreaza: USAID actions reveal imperialist interventions in the world

This Monday, February 17, the Executive Secretary of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America - Peoples' Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP), Jorge Arreaza, stressed that given the delivery of resources from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), to achieve political objectives, “the masks fell off!”

In his account on the social network Telegram, Arreaza highlighted that “imperialism reveals its interventions with political objectives in the world through USAID resources. The Venezuelan case is pathetic.”

In his message, he noted that “NGOs (non-governmental organizations with respect to the Government of Venezuela, but very governmental with respect to Washington) that have put together a whole framework to receive resources for political objectives in order to destabilize the country's institutions.”

“Under the umbrella of the supposed Humanitarian Aid Plan, they made disasters with funds from the same country that attacks its own people with sanctions and denies them the right to prosper,” he emphasized.

He ruled that such actions are: “A disgrace!”

Arreaza argued that “those who didn't pocket their resources, like Guaidó and company, used them in the country to finance projects with purely political objectives, to undermine the basis of the Bolivarian Revolution.”
