The Bolivarian Government, through the Dr. José Gregorio Hernández Plan, is making progress in comprehensive rehabilitation work at the J.M. de los Ríos Children's Hospital, located in the San Bernardino parish of Caracas, achieving a consolidated progress of 60%.

The technical and comprehensive intervention of this healthcare center is being carried out by the Sectorial Vice Presidency of Public Works and Services, recovering in a record time of approximately 20 days areas that deserved priority attention after the seismic events of last June 24, the Ministry of People's Power for Public Works (MPPOP) reported on its website.

It highlights that thanks to the deployment and prompt response of the crews, it was possible to rehabilitate and restart the operating room area, the hospitalization rooms, the dialysis service, the pediatric emergency and the triage room, allowing the immediate and safe continuity of specialized care.

The J.M. de los Ríos Hospital remains fully operational in line with the work within the facilities, under adequate and safe logistical coordination that guarantees the safety and hygiene protocols necessary for the well-being of young patients, their families and health personnel.

Currently, crews continue to deploy steadily in the modernization of electrical infrastructure, lighting systems, painting and the adaptation of key spaces, strengthening every corner of this hospital structure at the service of the country.
