This Friday, the president of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi, asserted that the Military Forces of the Persian country have no warlike intentions, however, they are prepared to respond to any threat.

“We will not start any war, but if any cruel force wants to intimidate us, we will respond firmly,” Raisi said during a visit to an Islamic Revolutionary Guard naval exhibition in the Iranian province of Hormozgan.

He stressed that the Iranian military power can face “the enemy” because Iran's forces “are powerful and capable”.

In addition, he clarified that Iran is the guarantee of security in the region.

According to what was published by the RT web portal, these statements by the Iranian president are due to the fact that the White House threatened to hold to account those responsible for the drone attack on a US outpost in Jordan by alleged soldiers backed by the Persian nation.
