The representative of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Jafar Yazerlou, confirmed that all airports in the Persian nation returned to operating previously suspended flights.

Yazerlou, last Sunday reported the cancellation of all flights in Iran until the early morning of this Monday, October 7, due to rising tensions in the Middle East.

“Taking into account the lifting of the imposed restrictions, (...) air communication has resumed in normal mode starting at 23:00 (GMT+3.30) on Sunday, October 6,” said the spokesman, quoted by the Mehr agency.

The clashes between Israel and the militias of the Shiite Hezbollah movement in Lebanon, as well as Israel's constant bombing of various areas of Lebanon, have caused more than 1,900 fatalities and thousands of injuries and displaced persons since mid-September, according to official Lebanese figures.
