The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, Nasser Kanaani, expressed, through his account on the social network X, his nation's support for the electoral process.
The diplomat wrote: “The Islamic Republic of Iran has expressed its strong support for the democratic election process and for the constitutional institutions of Venezuela and rejects U.S. interference in the internal affairs of this country.”
He also stressed the importance of respecting “the right to national sovereignty and the right of nations to participate in the political process, all countries must provide the necessary support and support to the legitimate and legal process of elections in Venezuela.”
In this regard, the Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, wrote in his account X, that “Venezuela welcomes an important gesture of brotherhood between our countries and the unrestricted attachment to international legality.”
