Iran denounced the double standards of the EU and the United Kingdom on arms exports

The contradictory behavior of the European Union (EU) and the United Kingdom exposes their double standards and the abdication of responsibility for human rights because they supply weapons to Israel to increase the war in Gaza, condemned Iran's Foreign Minister, Seyed Abbas Araghchi.

The Iranian official, through his account on the social network X, presented a British media report , stating that the British Government has not completely suspended export licenses to Israel. The report reveals that the United Kingdom is continuing to ship F-35 warplane components and other items to Israel.

Abbas Araghchi's statements are due to the fact that the EU and the United Kingdom accused the Persian nation without proof of exporting weapons to Russia to continue the conflict in Ukraine.

The Iranian diplomat reported that because of this baseless accusation, London and the Continental Organization imposed sanctions on airlines and the shipping sector of the Islamic Republic.

Araghchi pointed out that the British justification for continuing to export weapons to Israel is to maintain ties with the United States and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), reports the Xinhua news agency.
