The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that the Islamic Republic of Iran launched missiles at the country, which is why they have asked the population to remain alert.
Preliminary reports from the local press indicate that at least 150 ballistic missiles were launched. Meanwhile, Israeli military radio, quoted by Russia Today (RT), points out that there were 200.
Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard says the missile attack was a response to the assassinations of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh; Revolutionary Guard Nuenbri Abbas Niforousha; and Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.
The Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, stated over the weekend that “the ruling terrorist group of the Zionist regime did not learn from its year-long criminal war in Gaza and did not understand that the mass killing of women, children and civilians cannot affect the solid structure of the Resistance organization and destroy it.”
The Emergency Center of the Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that at least 45 people died as a result of several attacks by the Israeli Army against the Lebanese town of Ain El Delb.
The Zionist entity has also attacked the southern suburbs of Beirut and other areas further north of the capital, which until a few days ago had not been the target of Tel Aviv attacks.
