Officials from the National Institute of Land Transportation (INTT) carried out the road demarcation around the Abraham Reyes Educational Unit, located in the 23 de Enero parish of the Libertador municipality of Caracas, for the benefit of those who travel through this school area.
During the road work, they carried out the demarcation of the avenue's pedestrian crossing, marking arrows, brothels and lines; for a total of 480 meters of outline, the INTT press reported.
Betsy Briceño, professor of Citizenship and Protection at this campus, thanked the INTT for its effective response to the request for the demarcation of the pedestrian crossing.
“I thank the Minister of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, AJ. Remigio Ceballos Ichaso and the president of the INTT, G/D Gabriel Aguana, for their efficiency in the face of the work carried out, which also benefits the community in general,” said Briceño.
The demarcation of educational areas is part of the functions established in the INTT, which makes it possible to guarantee road safety in the country, in compliance with Article 23 of the Land Transport Act, which contemplates “controlling and regulating the conservation and maintenance of road signs and demarcation”.
