Officials from the National Institute of Land Transport (INTT), together with the Government of Portuguesa, are demarcating more than 1,000 kilometers corresponding to the José Antonio Páez highway.

The works constitute the demarcation of continuous, discontinuous lines, as well as the painting of 134 thousand square meters of the Jersey-type defense, as reported by Prensa INTT.

The work began in San Rafael de Oonto and has progressed to the Araure dealer, where the comprehensive road intervention is carried out, with the maintenance of the edges of the highway and the weeding of the highway.

In the coming days, the elevated demarcation will be carried out, including the installation of 150,000 cat's eye units, in order to reinforce the visibility of drivers on the road at night.
