International Women's Health Day: Guaranteed Care in Revolution

On May 28, 1987, through an assembly of the Women's Global Network for Sexual and Reproductive Rights, the International Day of Health for Women originated.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), women and girls must be protected, since they represent the most vulnerable population when it comes to health and therefore their needs must be a priority in any country in the world.

Since the arrival of the Bolivarian Revolution, women have been prioritized with the inclusion and guarantees of the different social programs and missions.

Venezuela is one of the countries that claim the female role as a fundamental essence for the development of life.
