The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) condemned the killing of 15 aid workers, including paramedics, first responders and a member of the United Nations (UN) in Gaza by the Israeli regime.
In this regard, the health institution urged a cessation of attacks directed against entities that carry out assistance work in the region.
In a statement, the ICRC deeply regretted the loss of these lives, stressing the courage of those who work in conditions of extreme risk to assist the population in emergency situations.
The institution also stressed that actions against health and humanitarian personnel represent a serious violation, truncating vital aid for affected communities, Prensa Latina reports.
In the context of the conflict, the Palestinian Red Crescent recently recovered 14 bodies in Tel al-Sultan, one of the most impacted areas in Rafah, and reported one more death.
According to official data, Israel resumed fighting on March 18, which has left more than 900 dead in Gaza.
