International Communication Congress recognizes Diosdado Cabello's informational work: The Mazo belongs to Chávez and the People!

Within the framework of the Second International Communication Congress held at the International University of Communications (LAUICOM), in Caracas, the informative work of Diosdado Cabello, as well as his program Con El Mazo Dando, was recognized.

The rector of the house of studies, Tania Díaz, gave the recognition to the also and highlighted “the invaluable defense of the truth that Con El Mazo Dando develops, as well as its character of being a window for communication in the most difficult moments”.

He also gave recognition to Cabello, for his performance as a communicator at the forefront of truth.

“Everything that is done here is done together, so these awards belong to the team. The essence of the program is Chávez. This program is not a commitment, I do it with great pleasure. 20 years ago the politicians in this country were untouchable and everyone was against the Revolution. They were untouchable, nobody said anything and when something was said about them that didn't come out anywhere. This is how El Mazo was born. The Mazo began by highlighting what the politicians of that time said to each other. I'm not a journalist, I just listen to what the people say. With El Mazo Dando, he is obliged to say things,” he said.

He added that “if we had Commander Chávez with his secure program, El Mazo would not be (...) If only El Mazo wasn't there and we had him.”
