Officials of the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (INAMEH) carried out the installation of an automatic satellite pluviometric station at 1,630 meters above sea level (meters above sea level) in the Henry Pittier National Park in the state of Aragua, which will allow the monitoring of rainfall recorded in the Castaño basin.

With this installation, the National Risk Management System (SNGR) strengthens the country's early warnings for the rainy season and reaches a total of 38 rainfall measurement equipment active in the entity.

In addition, the Institute performs corrective and preventive maintenance to ensure the transmission of hydrometeorological data to technological servers during this rainy season 2024.
