The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (INAMEH) reported that cloud cover will be maintained for the next few hours with rainfall of varying intensity and electrical activity in much of the national territory. Atmospheric conditions will affect areas of the east, south, center and west of the country, including the states of Monagas, Sucre, Anzoátegui, Bolivar, Amazonas, Yaracuy, Falcón, the Andes region, Zulia, as well as the façade of the North Coastal Center and the Central and Western Plains. The meteorological authorities also specified that satellite reports confirm the presence of developing storm clouds, with operational reach towards the insular and coastal areas.

On the other hand, the Maiquetía Meteorological Surveillance Office issued a significant route warning valid for domestic air traffic. The report notes the observation of convective cloud cores with peaks that reach up to 24,000 feet in height, moving in a northeasterly direction and intensifying in their trajectory, according to a press release.

To ensure operational and comprehensive safety, the National Institute of Civil Aeronautics (INAC) and the Maiquetia International Airport Institute (IAIM) coordinate the management of navigation alerts for commercial and general aviation.
