The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (INAMEH) reported an increase in cloud cover over much of the national territory, generating rainfall of varying intensity accompanied by occasional electric shocks in the West and the Andes region.
According to information issued by the meteorological agency, weather conditions directly affect the states of Apure, Barinas and the south of Portuguesa, as well as the entities of Táchira, Mérida and Trujillo in the Andes.
Risk management authorities maintain continuous monitoring in vulnerable areas of Western Venezuela to prevent contingencies resulting from continuous rains and increased electrical activity.
INAMEH recommended that the population keep an eye on official warnings and take appropriate preventive measures in the face of changes in the weather recorded during the day.
