This Tuesday, May 14, the National Institute of Civil Aeronautics (INAC) inaugurated the Comprehensive Center for Aeronautical Procedures (CITA), located in Caracas.

At CITA, all members of the Venezuelan aeronautical community, including cabin crew, pilots, technicians and other specialized personnel, will be able to manage their aeronautical procedures expeditiously, without intermediaries, in a modernized environment specially designed to provide first-rate care.

The Deputy Minister of Air Transport, Freddy Borges, together with the president of the INAC, Leonardo Briceño Dudamel, participated in the opening day. In this regard, Borges said that the CITA will allow the Bolivarian Government to meet the needs of the Venezuelan air sector in a quick and orderly manner. “In addition, with this modern space, we offer greater ease for users,” he said.

Built in record time, the construction of this comprehensive center included the beautification of areas for users, as well as the construction of a comfortable waiting room that serves as an anteroom while they receive their duly verified documents. In addition, an evaluation room and another room for linguistic competence were designed, equipped with technological equipment to offer aeronautical professionals a pleasant experience when being evaluated.
