INAC improves and modernizes Caracas Airport facilities

With the objective of guaranteeing decent work spaces for air traffic controllers and ensuring operational safety, the National Institute of Civil Aeronautics (INAC) is carrying out the project to refurbish the control tower of the Caracas Airport, located in Charallave, Miranda state.

This is the project to modernize airport facilities, which includes improvements in the safety and efficiency of air operations in the region.

In this regard, the institute is carrying out a series of maintenance and rehabilitation tasks for the spaces including painting, both inside and outside this airport facility. In addition, the installation of LED-type luminaires and reflectors was carried out, to guarantee adequate lighting for all areas, and to facilitate the visualization of aircraft at night and reduce energy consumption.

In addition, the workers carried out the comprehensive adaptation of the electrical system, ensuring its proper functioning to avoid any type of interruption in air communications.
