In the Official Gazette, six new careers for five universities in the country

The National Executive approved, after its publication in the Official Gazette, the inclusion of six new university programs for five schools in the country, as reported by the head of the university portfolio, Ricardo Sánchez.

Through a video posted on his Instagram account, Sánchez explained that the approved careers are: Psychology at the University of Carabobo; Health Statistics at the University of Los Andes; Oncological Surgery at the University of Los Andes; Astroenterology at the Central University of Venezuela (UCV); In pediatric nutrition at the UCV; Periodontics at the José Antonio Páez University (UJAP); In Latin American studies at the Simón Rodríguez National Experimental University (UNICA).

The minister also reported that he held a meeting with José Centeno, director of the Office of University Sector Planning (OPSU) to discuss issues related to the monitoring and balancing of educational responsibilities, as well as the timely cancellation of student measures.

Sánchez also emphasized the importance of making efficient and effective use of the resources allocated by the President of the Republic Nicolás Maduro, despite the difficulties imposed by the blockade and sanctions.
