More than 1,600 men and women from the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), the Bolivarian National Militia and the Public Security Agencies were deployed, this Wednesday, during a military defense exercise for our sovereignty carried out in the state of Táchira.
This was reported by the governor of the said entity, Freddy Bernal, who explained that the said maneuver was carried out on the Atanacio Girardot international bridge, a border crossing with Colombia.
Through a video posted on his Instagram account, the governor explained that the development of the maneuver was carried out as part of the celebration of the 19th anniversary of the creation of the Strategic Operational Command of the FANB.
“Together with our Bolivarian National Armed Forces, we continue to guarantee peace and tranquility in this border area,” Bernal emphasized.
