In Nueva Esparta, the People of Gómez mobilized in support of President Delcy Rodríguez

With massive attendance and in an environment of popular mobilization, the people of Gómez gathered in Santa Ana, capital of the General Municipality of Division Francisco Esteban Gómez, Bolivarian state of Nueva Esparta, to express their support for the intervention of the President of the Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Eloína Rodríguez Gómez, at the 81st General Assembly of the United Nations (UN), which is being held in New York City, United States.

The meeting was held in the Plaza del Eponym of the Northern Jurisdiction, through a live broadcast that allowed attendees to follow closely the activities and diplomatic meetings of the Venezuelan delegation in New York. Venezuela's presence in the multilateral forum reaffirms the principles of sovereignty, self-determination, cooperation and international dialogue upheld by the country.

The mayor of Gómez, Emilio Rafael Velásquez Villarroel, accompanied hundreds of women and men who, in a united way, expressed their support and trust to the national president, Delcy Eloína Rodríguez Gómez, who raised the country's voice before the 81st General Assembly of the United Nations (UN).

“Today it becomes clear that we are still leading the way with a courageous, warrior, struggling and intelligent woman. A woman who, above all, is committed to peace,” she said.

The activity reaffirmed the support of the people of Goma for diplomacy, dialogue, peace, sovereignty, rebirth, cooperation and well-being, under the slogan "Venezuela Renace “.
