In Falcón! Public Defense lights up Violet Flame in connection with awareness month for the eradication of violence against women

The historic center of the Falconian capital served as a stage for the lighting of the Violet Flame, a symbolic act developed by the Public Defense aimed at making violence against women visible and eradicated under the national premise Venezuela Violeta, No to Violence.
The day brought together a wide representation of the female sector belonging to security bodies, justice agencies, public authorities, regional institutions and spokespersons of People's Power, who united in a single preventive and awareness-raising front, according to the local press.
The regional coordinator of Public Defense in the entity, María Madriz, emphasized that the journey of this symbol through the country embodies the voice of women who have overcome situations of vulnerability and those who promote homes free from abuse. In the same way, the State's commitment to guarantee legal support and due process to victims was ratified.
