The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) destroyed a camp for illegal miners in the Mina Morichalito sector, in the state of Amazonas, said the Operational Strategic Commander of the FANB, G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez.

In that space, as reported by the senior military official, two 13.5 HP motorcycle bombs were detected and destroyed; a power plant; two industrial hammers; two turbines; a mineral washer; a point-to-point communication system; three Directv digital signal antennas; six grinders; two freezers; two cable television systems (Directv); six cement bales; 300 meters of cable; two 220-liter plastic containers containing fuel.

In addition, the uniformed personnel destroyed 3 structures that served different purposes.

“National parks and forest reserves must be protected by all citizens as a constitutional right and duty,” Hernández Lárez said in his X account.
