Important! The Revolution does not stop, the People participate and defend their sovereignty

One of the pillars of the Bolivarian Revolution is the strength of the Venezuelan people in the exercise of their participation and their conviction that the fulfillment of common objectives centered on the well-being of people is guaranteed.
And that is the main purpose of the Bolivarian Revolution: To guarantee popular participation to strengthen democracy.

Since the Chávez government, the leadership of the People in the full and authentic exercise of democracy was from the beginning a priority objective of the Bolivarian project and these continue to guide the evolution of the Bolivarian process now under the leadership of President Nicolás Maduro. Thus, the Bolivarian Revolution has managed to maintain its course despite the harassment, threats, sanctions, blockades and blackmail perpetrated by its enemies and detractors, both internal and foreign.
The exercise of popular sovereignty is evident during these 25 years, during which the country has registered 35 elections: 6 presidential elections, 6 legislative elections, 8 regional elections, 7 municipal elections, 2 for constituent assemblies and 6 referendums that strengthen the democratic system.
This year, as appropriate by law, the regional and legislative elections announced by the president of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Elvis Amoroso, will take place, who reported that they will take place on May 25, 2025 and include elections for deputies to the National Assembly (AN), governors of the states and legislators and legislators of the legislative councils of the states.
Faced with this announcement, the Venezuelan right declared that they would not participate and requested international intervention to try to suspend the new electoral process, proposing an agenda of destabilization at the national level. In this regard, the Secretary General of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, stressed at the press conference last Monday, that “we must choose and add the deputies of our Guiana Esequiba, for the first time 285 parliamentarians will be elected with their alternates, plus the councils legislators and governors”,
They announced that they will go to the International Court of Justice, we announce that we are going to popular sovereignty and popular sovereignty in Venezuela is respected, on May 25, there will be elections and there will be elections in our Guiana Esequiba. This electoral process will be one of the most important, since in addition to deepening and promoting work spaces that, together with organized communities and Community Councils, allow us to solve the problems presented by the regions, thanks to the political formation that the Bolivarian Revolution has strengthened and consolidated its leading character, reflected in the Constitution of the Republic Bolivarian of Venezuela; it will also be the first time that we will sincerely elect authorities in the state of Guayana Esequiba, thus paying off a historic debt to our compatriots in that territorial entity.
