The Institute for the Arts of Image and Space (IARTES) will present next Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at 11:00 in the morning, on the Topus Virtualis Galería platform, the virtual drawing exhibition “The Figure and the Place”.

According to information from the Ministry for Culture, this exhibition emerges from a selection of works born at the meeting “Draftsmen: Human Figure”.

This space permanently attracts art students and artists to the IARTES, consolidating itself as a vital meeting point for maintaining, experimenting and continuing to develop the technique of drawing.

Each piece on display is the result of an exercise in deep observation, where artists make sketches with models in situ. Thus, paper becomes a territory of constant expression and creative vitality.
