IAEM and SAPI promote legal protection for cultivators with a day to register works

The Autonomous Intellectual Property Service (SAPI) and the Institute of Performing and Musical Arts (IAEM) held a consultation and registration of works for artists and creators, in Caracas, with the purpose of facilitating the legal protection of their productions.

The activity took place at the Viva Venezuela Hall, where specialists provided guidance on copyright and trademark registration, in addition to receiving requests from participants, according to a note from the Ministry for Culture.

Marta Doudiers , vocalist of the Ensamble Agridulce, and the composer Guillermo Muñoz highlighted the attention received and invited other artists to register their creations with the SAPI through the IAEM.

This initiative seeks to facilitate intellectual property procedures and promote the formal registration of works in the Venezuelan cultural sector.
