Hoteliers in Nueva Esparta estimate an occupancy of 90% in the holiday season

The Hotel Chamber of Nueva Esparta (CAHOTEL) estimates that by the coming December dates and the end of the year the occupancy of accommodations on Margarita Island will exceed 90%, said the president of this organization, Roger Grandin.

In statements collected by the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN), Grandin noted that there has been a positive trend in hotel occupancy driven by air connectivity and corporate celebrations.

The president of CAHOTEL commented that based on these data, the sector expects an “excellent season in December and the beginning of 2027”.

Grandin highlighted that thanks to the holding of scientific congresses, the island state has increased health tourism in addition to the occupancy of hotels.
