Nicolás Maduro thanked the People and the revolutionary forces that nominated him as a candidate for the presidential elections on July 28, before the National Electoral Council (CNE).
The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela told me that he dedicated himself to listening “with great attention to the reasons, arguments, analyses and perspectives of each activist, of each militant, of each volunteer (...) how each of you narrated our epic, valued the human essence of the struggle we have fought”.
He stressed that “such generosity and recognition on the part of the people were moved by this humble man from the neighborhoods of Caracas, this humble worker, but above all it filled me with pride, so much awareness and so much sense of history that our beloved People of Venezuela have (...) they expressed their will to nominate my name constitutionally, upholding the simplest and at the same time high human values, which I consider to be a loving reward that I never expected, but which fills me with strength, fills me with life, fills me up with life, fills me up with the simplest and highest human values. of energy, of love to continue fighting for our beloved homeland and for the future of all.”
Maduro reiterated on Monday that the revolutionary forces will win a new victory in the upcoming presidential elections on July 28.
After formalizing his registration with the National Electoral Council (CNE) as a candidate for presidential re-election, the head of state addressed the crowd concentrated in Caracas, and recounted the triumphs of the Bolivarian Revolution in the face of the aggressions of the extremist sectors of the ultra-right opposition.
“We beat them in 2019, 20, 21, 22, 23; and on July 28, I swear to you by my mother, by my father, by the Most Holy Trinity, on July 28, the 70th birthday of Commander Chávez, we are going to win back to those last names,” said the Dignitary, recalling the multiple destabilizing actions of the right, supported by North American imperialism, which ended up in failure.
He pointed out that “this is not a subject of a man, it is a subject of a historical project, we are the incarnation of Guaicaipura here on Earth, we are the incarnation of José Leonardo Chirinos, of the Negro Primero, of Urimare; we carry in our cause the cause of Bolívar, of Sucre, of Rafael Urdaneta. He is not a man, he is you, he is a people and you have never left me alone, I will never fail him,” he emphasized.
