Honduras: Nearly 64,000 people are affected by Tropical Storm Sara

Authorities in Honduras reported that as a result of the passage of Tropical Storm Sara through the country, 42 municipalities in 12 departments have been impacted, while almost 64,000 people are reported to have been affected.
The private secretary of the Presidency, Héctor Manuel Zelaya Castro, through the social network X, indicated that he participated in a meeting with the country's president, Xiomara Castro, and the National Risk Management System (Sinager), to evaluate the situation of storm Sara and coordinate actions.
He also indicated that 42 municipalities in 12 departments are impacted; 63,920 people have been affected; 3,720 have found refuge in temporary shelters and damage has been reported to bridges and road networks in the different departments.
