The Venezuelan national team, against all odds,
beat Germany 1-0 at the Rabat stadium, securing their historic ticket to the
quarterfinals of the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup.
Those led by Dayana Frías went up
with an early goal from Diana Bravo in the 5th minute, with a left-handed shot she sent her to the
back of the German goal, which ended up becoming the only goal of the match.
The German squad sought a tie by
all means, but Vinotinto closed ranks, maintained defensive strength and contained rival attacks without shocks.
With this result, Venezuela qualified for the quarterfinals of the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup Morocco 2026 and will face the winner of the match between Nigeria and Mexico, scheduled for November 1, in the next instance.
