Venezuelan Carlos Mendoza made history by becoming the first rookie manager to lead the New York Mets to the postseason in his first year in command, in Major League Baseball (MLB).
This Monday, the Mest beat the Atlanta Braves 8-7, thus securing a place in the wild card round with a record of 89-72.
