65% of Venezuelans believe that it is currently appropriate to wait for the economy to stabilize before calling presidential elections, according to the Hinterlaces Country Monitor for October 2026.

Hinterlaces, as reported by the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN), asked respondents what he currently considers most convenient for Venezuela and set two options: calling presidential elections as soon as possible or waiting for the economy to stabilize.

Faced with this question, 30% of the participants were inclined to hold the presidential elections as soon as possible, while 5% said they did not know or did not answer.

The results reflect the preferences expressed by the respondents to the two options proposed in the study.
