High participation was consistent in the more than a thousand meetings held in the state of Monagas where members of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) nominated their candidates for the upcoming parliamentary and regional elections on May 25.
As instructed by the red awning directive, at 2:00pm the bases began these assemblies to nominate their leaders in clear recognition of the work of these men and women who are part of the more than 59,000 candidates across the country as candidates for deputies to the National Assembly, governors and state legislators.
In the town of Maturín, 668 meetings were held where the participation of women from Monagua was the protagonist of this process that deepens the protagonist and protagonist democracy within the PSUV.
