Specialized crews from HIDROVEN and public services from the Mayor's Office of the Cristóbal Rojas municipality completed repair work on the main pipeline of the Tuy III system, located in the Caujarito sector of the Charallave parish, Miranda state, at 8:30 this Monday morning.

According to a press release from Última Noticias, the contingency originated after a rupture in the main pipe that triggered a water jet of more than four meters high, affecting the vegetation layer of the mountainous area, at 6 pm last Sunday. Faced with the situation, technical teams were immediately deployed to assess the magnitude of the damage and coordinate appropriate intervention.

Rafael García, Secretary of City Law and Public Services of Charallave, highlighted the deployment carried out in coordination with regional authorities and the Ministry for Water Care to resolve the fault in an expeditious manner.

“From the early hours we traveled with engineer Eduard Morales and the operational teams to correct the drinking water leak in Caujarito, following guidelines aimed at ensuring the stability of services,” he said.

García pointed out that after completing the welding and structural conditioning maneuvers at 8:30am, the valves were opened at 9:00 in the morning to begin the progressive filling of the pipe and carrying out pressure tests that would allow the water supply to be returned safely to the different municipalities of Tuyeros and Greater Caracas.
