Heads of States and Governments arrive in Russia for the BRICS summit

The presidents of the People's Republic of China, South Africa and the Prime Minister of India have already arrived in the Russian Federation to participate in the XVI BRICS Summit.
The President of China, Xi Jinping, landed this Tuesday in Kazan. The president is expected to hold meetings with heads of state and representatives of the countries attending the summit.
For their part, the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi and the President of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa plan to hold meetings with their counterparts from other member countries of the bloc and leaders invited to the high-level event.
The Indian Foreign Ministry noted that the summit provides an opportunity to evaluate the progress of initiatives promoted by the BRICS.
For his part, Cyril Ramaphosa will begin his agenda this Tuesday afternoon with a meeting with the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, the South African Presidency said in a statement.
