Head of State will hold the next Popular Consultation on 26E: To empower the People!

The President of the Republic, Nicolás
Maduro, explained that a new National Popular
Consultation will be held on January 26, 2025, to continue giving power to the People.
“Next year we are going to hold four direct
consultations, in the sense of direct resources, in the 5,297 communal
circuits and I have already set a date for the first election of the year 2025 and it
will be Sunday, January 26, Venezuela's first grassroots election to
empower the people,” he said during a meeting with the Bolivarian Militia at the Miraflores Palace
.
He recalled that in 2024, two Popular
Consultations were held, in which the People in their communities had the
opportunity to choose the projects that would be directly financed
by the Bolivarian Government in their sectors.
For this reason, he emphasized
continuing to work for the construction of popular self-government, with the objective of
continuing to strengthen the people's democracy.
