Head of State will hand over the Bicentennial Bank converted into the Digital Bank of the Working Class

This Wednesday, May 1st, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, reported that he decided to hand over the Bicentennial Bank, which has become the country's first Bicentennial Digital Bank of the Working Class.

“I give it to workers for financial support, to generate micro credits, loans, business support, access to financial services, card, fingerprint, face,” he said.

The announcement was made at the Miraflores Palace, on the occasion of the nationwide mobilization for the celebration of International Workers' Day and the 12th anniversary of the enactment of the Organic Law on Labor, Workers and Women, promoted by Commander Hugo Chávez.

He also announced without further details that 50,000 new CrediMujer credits will be delivered through the Venezuela Women Grand Mission, which “generate good income, and with the Venezuela Youth Grand Mission we have a one-card system and we will deliver 40,000, through CrediJoven,” he said.
