This Thursday, August 1st, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, said that the Bolivarian Government will never allow criminal gangs to take territorial control of the country in Venezuela.

“That will never happen here,” he emphasized.

This is what he said when referring to the recent violent acts orchestrated by the extremist right, “these bandits were articulated with a lot of money and drugs, to try to take us to the Haiti-like scenario”.

He explained that the objective “is for criminal gangs to grow and take territorial power and govern all neighborhoods, cities and then govern the country, and the country ends up being kidnapped by criminal gangs and the fascist right.”

“This has been the gringos' plan for many years,” he said at the Miraflores Palace, where he received the workforce of the Local Supply and Production Committees (CLAP).

Faced with this scenario, the head of state stressed that “we have the secret, perfect formula, which is the union between popular power, military power and police power: the perfect Civic-Military Union”.

He added that the Bolivarian Government proceeds in accordance with legality, justice and the National Constitution, “but with a heavy hand, an iron hand of justice.”

“We are already preparing them, no later than 15 days, Tocorón comes out,” he ratified.
