The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, during his participation in the march to celebrate his re-election from La Guaira, invited the People to take care of the country's peace.

The Head of State congratulated the people who believed in their victory, while specifying that “we must march together for peace and care for Venezuela”.

He also recalled the flight of Edmundo González from the country and described him as a coward who continues to deceive his followers with the false promise of an oath of office on January 10.

In this regard, the Head of State assured that he is the one who will be sworn in before the National Assembly (AN) on January 10, 2025, as explicitly stated in the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

He questioned whether the former candidate appears in public places in Madrid with the Venezuelan flag that has seven stars, because “whoever raises a seven-star flag offends the honor and dignity of all Venezuelans and all Venezuelan women.”
