The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro , highlighted this Tuesday the great struggles that have been waged for decades in the country for the construction of a free and sovereign Homeland.

During the inauguration of the House of Grandparents and Grandmothers of the Fatherland, on Bolivar Avenue in Caracas, the Head of State pointed out that in the eyes of older adults you can see the glow “of hope, of joy because of the struggle we were fighting to conquer a free, independent and sovereign homeland”.

In this regard, he stated that “today we have managed to conquer and build our own homeland, rebellious, free, sovereign of all”, thanks to “the giant Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías, present here with his grandparents and grandmothers, our Supreme Commander”.
