Head of State: We have strategic objectives for Venezuela (+gas export)

During a tour of the Ambrosio Plaza Comunal Gas cylinder plant in Guarenas, Miranda state, this Thursday, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, ratified her commitment to turning the country into a gas exporter.
“We have strategic objectives for Venezuela, for Venezuela to become a gas exporter. In this case, we are exporting LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) to the United States, to the Dominican Republic, to Caribbean countries,” said the president.
He noted that Venezuela is already negotiating with Caribbean countries, including Barbados, as well as Colombia, “which will have not only the LPG modality, but the gas pipeline on which both the Colombian company Ecopetrol and PDVSA Gas de Venezuela are already working.”
“So this is the path we want for our Venezuela, a productive Venezuela, where its workers are fully committed. National gas, where strategic state companies such as CVG and PDVSA Gas are in chains,” Rodríguez stressed.
