The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, reiterated that North American imperialism has been unable to cope with the revolutionary process promoted by Commander Hugo Chávez, because it is faced with leadership that comes from the streets.

Upon receiving the Great Caravan of Bolivarian Fury at the Miraflores Palace, in commemoration of the Anti-Imperialist Rebellion of the Bolivarian Military Youth of 1992, the Head of State pointed out that “we come from a revolutionary school, from the streets, so they have not been able to handle us, nor will they ever be able to, because we are from the street, from the ordinary”.

He emphasized that “we are people in power, we are the same people, we are the same, we are Homeland and we come from centuries of struggle, until Chávez came to wake us up, to organize, to set us on our way”.
