President Nicolás Maduro asked the men and women in uniform and weapons of the Republic not to doubt that “we are the incarnation of the immortal spirits of the liberators and liberators of the entire great Homeland of America”
“We have a responsibility in the 21st century to build dreams and the great utopia of the egalitarian Republic, of the free and sovereign Fatherland; to make way for Bolivar's dreams of the maximum amount of happiness possible, maximum social security and maximum political stability,” he said.
He added that “we have eminently patriotic military forces and the Presidential Honor Guard has a sublime heritage since it was founded on February 15, 1815 by Bolívar, who took care of it, until he left on December 17, 1830 in Santa Marta, Colombia.”
