In the context of the 20th anniversary of the October Movement in Argentina, this Tuesday the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, warned of the revival of fascism and neofascism, which are added to neoliberalism as objectives to be eradicated for the well-being of peoples.

“Today the fight is against neoliberalism in all its forms of wild capitalism and, we say from Venezuela because we are fighting that battle with all of you, the fight is also against fascism, neofascism and all their similar expressions,” said the Head of State in a message sent to the Peronist organization through his YouTube channel.

He warned that in the face of the loss of world hegemony and the emergence of an alternative multipolar and pluricentric world, North American imperialism “is reacting intemperantly. It is very similar to the reaction of the imperialist nations of Europe and the United States when the power of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics emerged at the time and the reaction of those old monarchies of transnational capital and of the concepts of vital spaces of capitalism,” he added.

In this regard, he also exalted the emergence of “that immense force that largely represents the BRICS”, so that “the empire wants, in its hour of decline, moral and economic policy, to carry out its hegemony in the worst ways”, with criminal actions of which Venezuela and Argentina are victims.

“We are suffering from an onslaught of the most brutal, the most violent, the most intolerant, full of hatred and revenge, a national onslaught that our people effectively managed to neutralize and overcome. Venezuela is at peace, working, growing and flourishing,” but also “an international onslaught of the neofascist fascist International and similar expressions,” he said.

However, he stressed that Venezuela is standing, “with a united people, with a perfect union of struggle and construction for the future.”
