This Monday, January 22, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, assured that sectors of the opposition “are betting on the stage of the coup d'etat to jump to power and generate violence”

“They are betting on the assassination scenario,” he denounced during his program Con Maduro+, where he explained that different sectors of the opposition seek to create scenarios of uncertainty and violence in the Venezuelan people.

“They bet on the scenario of economic war, of psychological warfare, they seek to create chaos in networks, to influence and annoy and despair people,” he said.

He recalled that the opposition sectors are to blame for the sanctions executed by the United States. “The culprits are the criminals who have attacked the country's stability and the economy.”
