The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, took a tour of the Basilica of Our Lady of Chiquinquirá this Saturday, to express his devotion to La Chinita, patron saint of the Zulian people.

In the company of the first combatant Cilia Flores, the Head of State expressed his love and admiration for La Chinita, which he attributes to the miracle of being saved when he suffered the assassination attack with drones, carried out by the right wing and imperialism. That is why “I feel a deep love and gratitude for Our Lady of Chiquinquirá,” he said during a meeting with the structure of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) in the state of Zulia.

During his visit to the Western entity, the Dignitary took time to reflect and pray at the feet of the patron saint of the Zulians, whom he thanked for all the favors granted. He also received the replica of the crown as a gift, says Venezolana de Televisión (VTV) on its website.
