This Wednesday, March 19, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, said that Venezuela is the third exporting country in livestock genetics in Latin America. “Now they have to respect Venezuelan livestock for quality and drive,” he emphasized.

He stressed that in terms of livestock, “Venezuela is no longer what they call the Cinderella of America, we can already say that in cattle farming we are like Red Wine: what we are doing is talking”.

He also stressed that livestock farming has managed to supply the country in record time, “we have to supply it better and better”.

He also stressed that in this area of livestock, “science must always be at the service of development”.

He proposed this in Simon Bolivar Park, at La Carlota Air Base, where he inaugurated the 48th National Fair of Cebu and its Crosses, which will take place from March 19 to 23.

Regarding this event, he considered that it is a time for national livestock to meet for the exchange of experiences, “it has many benefits, advantages, it is a time of important visits by Venezuelan and international specialists, experts, scientists to share Venezuela's thriving and growing livestock experience”.

He reaffirmed that Venezuela is progressing in growth, expansion and diversification in order to have economic independence.
