Nicolás Maduro, president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, said that the country must commit to moving from importing country to exporter.

“It has been said to export! The entire Arab world, the entire Muslim world, over Iran, even in Europe are asking for Venezuelan meat, because now they say in the world that our meat is surpassing Brazilian, Argentinian and Uruguayan meat in quality, in softness, in flavor,” said the head of state this Wednesday, February 21, at a conference held from the state of Apure.

He added that “we no longer talk about Venezuela for oil or for the missions or just for the Revolution, that now we talk about Venezuelan meat in the world, so the order is to export.”

In the same vein, the Head of State instructed the workforce in the agri-food sector to continue to contribute their ideas, in order to continue to revive this sector more forcefully in the debates of the 7T.

“I invite you producers, farmers, peasants, fishermen, fishermen, all of Venezuela to commit to working to design the future collectively with the 7 Transformations, the 7T that Venezuela needs.”
