Head of State: Venezuela is necessary for the world's energy equation

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, assured that Venezuela's enormous energy reserves make it an essential actor in the international equation regarding hydrocarbons and gas.

“The world needs Venezuela in its energy equation for stability and the only ones who give security to investments and to the production of energy from oil and gas, in this place, from South America, in Venezuela, are us and the world's investors already know it,” he said.

He stressed that the sanctions cut time and speed in verifying figures, however, “Venezuela is on the verge of certifying the fourth largest gas reserve in the world and, also, we have important export partnerships.”
