Head of State urged to achieve the first Municipal State Development Budget

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, this Sunday, November 17, urged that the National Budget 2025 be converted into the first Budget for the Development of the Communal State in Venezuela.

On this matter, he explained that the National Budget, which was recently presented to the Legislative Branch, “must be discussed in December.”

Therefore, he indicated that there is still time “that I want them to elect a commission of about 30 colleagues, if not more, to go to the National Assembly to oversee that Budget Law.”

The instruction was given at the Mountain Barracks, on the occasion of the closing of the Great Congress of the Historical Bloc, where he pointed out that the 2025 Nation's Budget should be converted , “falling and running”.

“We are going to push the bar, we are going to achieve the changes. Approved in the Historic Bloc,” he emphasized.

He stressed that this committee must be composed “of you, but not of deputies, well, deputies can join, welcome. I want 30 or 50 members of you, rapporteurs and rapporteurs from the base. The basis for the National Assembly.”
