The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, instructed the expansion of urban agriculture in all schools and lyceums in the country.
In this regard, he urged that the farm of the “Fabrico Ojeda” Endogenous Development Center be converted into a school, which has four cultivation spaces, which are fully productive.
At this point, he also issued instructions to the Minister of the People's Power of Education, Yelitze Santaella, that all schools and high schools in the country, “must have their conuco, their farm, because it's about learning by doing and doing by learning”.
He stressed that “what the girl and the boy learned together with the teacher is never forgotten”.
This was stated by the head of state, during his tour, on the occasion of the delivery of the “Fabrico Ojeda” Endogenous Development Center, to which all its spaces were rehabilitated by the organized Popular Power and the Mayor's Office of Caracas.
He said that the Bolivarian Government has great goals for the year 2024, so that Venezuela can continue its progress in the economic and social spheres.
